We hand make our all-natural candy from scratch in small batches. p.o.p. candy contains no additives, hardeners, or preservatives of any kind. It's natural by design and meant to be enjoyed shortly after purchase. (Think of it more like a fresh baked good than a candy made to sit back on the shelf.) 

All-Natural Clean Ingredients
Our ingredients are simple and clean: dairy butter, cane sugar,  organic brown rice syrup, and whatever nut we're packing into it. For our herbed and spiced flavors, we add seasonal and savory ingredients fresh from our local farmers' markets like fresh rosemary, thyme, and sundried cherries, excellent spices, and all-natural extracts.  The premium nuts we pack into our butter crunch -- California almonds, pistachios and walnuts, as well as pecans and cashews— release their natural oils during the cooking process, giving each butter crunch its own rich color and distinct flavor.  Yum!

Consistency and Taste (This is not your grandma's brittle!)
The consistency of our product is smooth and crunchy, and our candy blend base is buttery sweet toasty that works well with savories, your morning tea and coffee, as well as microbrews and your favorite zinfindel.  So, while we look like a brittle, we're a buttery sweet crunchy  -- "the right level of sweetness" our customers like to say -- instead of a cloying sweet candy that's hard on your teeth.

Nutritional Value and Sugar
We're corn syrup-free and mostly gluten-free.  Our sugar count is actually less than a lot of juices, smoothies, and coffee drinks (15g-19g per serving, depending on your package's portion size).  Feel free to check out the nutritional information for some of our flavors here.
